Cleaning Performance at Your Leisure!

SpaceVac’s internal cleaning system was developed specifically to provide a flexible cleaning system that could be used in a number of different areas.

By developing a dedicated range of tools and flexible brushes and add-ons, the system has grown to one that is equally at home in a range of specialist cleaning environments from cinemas to museums, from schools to airports.

Last week our specialist cleaning division were working in the south of England bringing a huge public leisure complex back to its former glory.

Leisure centres have proven to be a very popular market for SpaceVac, as the architecture within these spaces often feature not only high-clearance ceilings but also a range of built in obstacles and dust traps from vents and ducting to beams and basketball hoops.

The coming weeks will see the team working throughout the building – including cleaning over and above the swimming pool – an area that has previously been literally impossible to clean – but to begin with, we spent the week in some of the larger rooms like the basketball courts shown below where our lightweight pole system, easily reached these areas without the need for any of the expensive time consuming access equipment that might have ordinarily been used to reach such as scaffolding or scissor lifts.

These areas featured a number of built in obstacles for the system to work around and in addition to the fact that these high-level areas hadn’t been cleaning since the facility was opened meant the team had quite a challenge in front of them!

By the end of the week we had amassed quite a collection of shuttlecocks from the rafters and the team onsite were happy with the results as you can see from some of the before and after shots below.

In the meantime – to talk to us about your own specialist cleaning requirements and to see how SpaceVac could help you and your teams onsite, please contact us today!

SpaceVac in Japan

We handed the keys to the blog over to SpaceVac CEO Tommie, to look back at a busy week in Japan…

Well as our week in Japan comes to a close its certainly been a very busy and exciting few days for the Team here at SpaceVac!

For the last week I’ve been travelling across a number of locations in Japan with our new colleagues at Yuda Inc, who recently became our official (and first) SpaceVac distributor here in Japan.

Japan has long been a market we were very keen to work within, and over the last few years as we began working in other Asian markets, we have begin working to identify the perfect distribution partner in the country – a quest that was completed when we came across Saori and the fantastic team at Yuda Inc.

At SpaceVac we pride ourselves on our commitment to supporting our new distributors as they launch for the first time – you can read here all about Grants recent trip to Spain and Portugal to work with the team there – and we certainly packed into this most recent trip as well.

We kicked off the week with some intensive training with the team to ensure that they were all fully aware of the technical capabilities if the system and how each dedicated part of the system works.

Once the team were trained and confident, we worked with them on sales and demo strategy, before putting this to the test with demos in some iconic locations in and around Yokohama – including one at one of Japan’s largest automotive manufacturers.

All told a very busy and very productive week and a great start to our new relationship with the team at Yuda as well. Be sure to contact the team there to arrange a demo if you are in Japan and interested in what SpaceVac can do for you!

In the meantime, if you are interested in becoming a distributor for SpaceVac in your territory then be sure to get in touch with us to talk about how we could work together or click here to find out more!

Until next time…

SpaceVac Unveil New Drone Powered Cleaning System

SpaceVac is excited to unveil the latest addition to our range of specialist cleaning equipment – the SpaceVac Sky Scraper.

The new Sky Scraper is a groundbreaking new addition to the SpaceVac range – providing a cleaning solution allowing operators to clean up to an incredible 100m high from the ground floor by way a radio controlled drone.

The drone quickly and easily sucks up dust, dirt and other debris before shooting it in highly directional blasts to the handy storage container contained at ground level. This revolutionary new device brings the power and simplicity of our high-level cleaning system, without the need for our high-level poles.

SpaceVac Technical Manager Andy Collar noted; “We are always looking for new ways to make our pole system even lighter and easier to use for our customers and this new SpaceVac system is the lightest yet as it doesn’t feature any poles! We often meet prospective clients who are tired of working with telescopic cleaning poles. While these seem really handy in theory – as anyone who has used these extendable systems for long periods of time will know, after a while they become very heavy. This is because whether you are cleaning to 1m above head height or ten, you still have to carry the full weight of the poles around with you.”

“By removing the need for cleaning poles altogether, our operators can be rest assured that after a long day cleaning with the SpaceVac Sky Scraper, the only thing that might be in need of a rest is the drone itself”.

Be sure to book a demo with SpaceVac today to see the power and flexibility that we can offer to anyone looking to clean inaccessible, high-level areas.

Updates to Camera Charging System

We have recently made a very small but important update to the camera and monitor system we thought it was important to share.

We have recently taken the decision to switch all of our camera and monitors to a simple USB charger cable.

Previous revisions of the camera kit have featured an adaptor suitable for plugging the units into the wall for charging, however as the product becomes available in new territories that presents a number of issues – not least making sure that the supplied plug is the correct one – a challenge when territories like Jordan have a choice of 5!

Moving forward all of our cameras and monitors will be able to be charged in one of two ways.

The first is by use of a simple USB charging cable. This enables you to charge anywhere you have access to a USB socket – including into the wall via your mobile phone charger.

Secondly – all of our camera kits also come equipped with a charger and cable to enable you to charge the camera and monitor using the standard in car charging points as well.

We hope that this change provides a number of ways for our customers to get the most out of their camera and monitoring system. If you have any questions or want to know more – be sure to contact us today!
